Lost Amongst the Canals in Venice, Italy
article by Nithya (Life in a suitcase)
traveled through Venice, Italy, and find a place that was dazzling, powerful and easy to love. The train came in about 20:00 and in order to find the bus we had booked the Spring Hotel in Venice Mestre, was a little upset. The bus system was a little fun to try to figure out. I needed to reach the outskirts of the city across the river, but the system was not impossible.
Venice itself is just beautiful. The bus took me to a very central bus station, Piazzale Roma, where he sold fresh Panini small caravans, impressive for a morning of pecking. After a few signs, I went to the main area of Venice to find a modest crowd of streets, cobbled streets and plenty of small coffee shops. Equipped with the map of my trip I went on the course of the Basilica of San Marcos in the square, and then head back in the direction I had come in one of the ferries by the Grand Canal. I’m not terribly. There are several small and elegant canals in Venice, but when you just can cross a footbridge is reached in a completely lost in the process. It is useless trying to read a map, I tried again and again to reach a different area on the map and not epics every time! In Venice, just follow the canals, small roads and the pleasure of getting lost. If you want to go somewhere there are some signs that point to the Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge and utilities have addresses too. This was discovered by the second day was the best way to do Venice. What is absolutely wonderful it is to spend half an hour on the Rialto Bridge just watching the afternoon pass, shopping in nearby positions and get an espresso in a small cafe. The gondolas in the canal seems quite expensive to rent, but if you are a couple who wants a comfortable time on the streets otherwise loaded, this could be a good way to go. My other favorite place in Venice is the main square in San Marcos. Take the time to go through the Basilica of San Marco and sit in a corner of the square with a book, a great way to pass the time. Do not pick the guidance of the Church and the Cathedral and use that as a basis for moving, they are totally deep within and trying to meet them will get to see some elegant square: the San Giacomo dall ‘ Orio, where one of the oldest churches is One of my. Venice tips: If you see something you like or a photo you want to take, buy or take it there and then, believe me you will have problems getting back to that exact spot About the Author Written by Kayfor life in a suitcase (http://www.LifeOutofaSuitcase.com) Kay is a self-confessed travel guru and certainly can not get rid of the errors of travel.
